Description
The Charleston cymbal (or hihat), together with the speaker and snare, is the basic set for playing drums. The Charleston consists of a pair of cymbals mounted on a rod that allows the cymbals themselves to open and close so that they have a closed sound, generally used to keep time, and a more open sound that is usually used during the groove before playing the snare giving that sense of openness. The Charleston Wambooka S Series cymbals (sold in pairs) are matched with weight in mind.
